We are so proud of the tremendous sacrifices of our Veterans and our armed force personnel. With large military bases located all over the Emerald Coast, we are a very patriotic and proud area.
If you haven’t flown into the Destin-Valparaiso Airport, you may not realize that the largest American flag in the world is located in the heart of Destin! Created by the artist, Robert Wyland, this is a stunning tribute. The flag that is approximately one acre and is located on the roof of the Legendary marina building in Destin. A stunning and welcoming tribute to our members of the armed forces, and a must-see if you’re in our area!
